Hah. I shook Walton's hand at the Gorge. :)

My ever-patient 24 yo son couldn't get past that much old flesh jiggling around him.

I didn't know I got Walton in the panoramic until I was zooming in looking to see if I could see one of my friends in the crowd. I've seen him at one other show in Oregon. Cool you got to meet him. I'd be afraid I would say something disparaging about his basketball color commentary. In all honesty, I will stop and watch a game just to pick up on his GD and Dylan references. People who never got on the bus seem to rag on him. It makes a game a little more interesting for me.

Million dollar idea of the day... we need to come up with a Bill Walton color commentary drinking game!

I'm old. I saw every one of his home games at UCLA.

That must have been amazing to watch him. I imagine it was something like my freshman year at Oregon State, which was Gary Payton's senior year. He was the Sports Illustrated NCAA player of the year that season. His talents were on such an elevated level that he seemed to dance around everyone and score at will.

Yeah. Except Bill had more talent around him. NCCAs don't like. :) But before his injuries he was transcendent.
